aThe stock pedals are a two sided story;

The left folding pedal is a piece of great design, with a large bearing meaning it lasts well. Although I understand many fold the platform a little small.

The right pedal is suitable for a few hundred miles at best, loose ball bearings and nothing too special.

So what to do?

Option 1 - Swap the RH pedal for a sealed bearing option.

Option 2 - Swap the pair for removable pedals

Option 3 - Use non folding pedals

Option 4 - Clipless (SPD)
